What we do
Our main project is
Casa Domingo.

Casa Domingo
is a home through as it is accompanied to the young people towards
the improvement of his situation from the observation, listens to
and support in his future objectives. The project is developed in
Tegucigalpa, in the Colony El Alemán, with the group of young
people of the street. One indifferently works with men and women.
The most common problems of this social group are: instability, stop
drug index and violence, broken families, bad trat you,
risk of entering or of belonging to maras, drugs, delinquency, lack
of economic resources, situation of street, mendicity, scholastic
absenteeism, problems of nutrition, nonavailability of formation,
lack of labor opportunity, etc. The group adressee of the house is
conformed by 6 young people to ages between the 16 and 25 years
without sex distinction. The pick up of this group is carried out
through the direct observation of the young people in street and the
derivations of other institutions. The opinion of the own young
people at the time of making the selection considers very, since it
is tried to cause the real participation of the young person in his
own process of change and only with the will of them it is able to
reach the objectives that consider through this project.
